Hannah’s Garden Inn B&B (820 W. 7th Ave., 509/747-6235, www.hannahsgardeninn.com [3], $110–150 d) is another grand historic home with an attractive garden and five guest rooms with shared or private baths. It’s close to downtown and Manitou Park.

Built in 1902, this gorgeous B&B features hardwood floors, gas chandeliers, a wraparound porch, and an outdoor swimming pool. The four guest rooms have private or shared baths, and kids are welcome.
