Although the brick New Hall Military Museum is modest in appearance, it introduces visitors to one of the most significant developments of the colonial era: the early beginnings of the U.S. military.
The New Hall Military Museum is dedicated to the founding soldiers who sacrificed their lives for freedom and has exhibits on the past and present army, navy, and marines.
Educational seminars are given during the summer. The building is a reconstruction of the original built by the Carpenters’ Company in 1791, which once housed the office of the first secretary of war, Henry Knox.
