Though the Iron Chef himself now spends most of his time in the New York location, his original eponymous restaurant, also a Stephen Starr spectacle, is still a jewel.
The space will wow you before you even sit down, with its ultra-modern dining room dimly lit with alternating multicolor lights and a cutting-edge design with lots of curved edges.
It only gets better from there, with amazing sushi, sashimi, seafood, steak, salads, and several eat-till-you-die omakase (chef’s tasting) options.
Though your wallet will suffer for it, Morimoto is a must for any real restaurant lover—it’s an experience.
