Royal Tavern

A gorgeous antique wooden bar is the centerpiece of this neighborhood bar in South Philadelphia’s Bella Vista neighborhood. A long row-home space is filled with regulars, chatting and drinking at the bar or dining at the small tables that fill the space.

There is a good beer selection and reasonably priced tasty sandwiches along with more dinner-style entrées. Don’t miss the summer rolls, fresh salads, and delightful roast pork sandwiches. While some people come just to drink, the majority of people eat while they’re here as well.
