Tria

The three stars at Tria are wine, cheese, and beer. Whether you prefer a bold cabernet, a full-bodied Riesling, an earthy Raclette, or a buttery Nevat, the wine list is long and leaves nothing to be desired, but a selection of microbrewed beers from around the world offers an alternative.

Artisan cheeses, cured meats, bruschetta, salads, and sandwiches are offered, and while it’s possible to order a relatively simple chicken sandwich, only food virgins leave without sampling the numerous other sensuous delights. A cheese tasting, paired with exotic accompaniments, is an essential part of the experience.

A second Tria in Washington West (Map 2, 1137 Spruce St., 215/629-9200) was added in 2007 due to the enormous popularity of the first location near Rittenhouse Square [2].
