Schuylkill Banks River Tours

At Schuylkill Banks River Tours you can choose between three different seasonal tours on the RiverLoop that glide you along the Schuylkill River. One offers a general tour of the River; another will take you to Bartram’s Garden [2] where you’ll have time to get off and explore; and another offers the chance to hear jazz music while cruising.

Kayak tours are also available, departing from the same spot, offering trips to the Fairmount Water Works [3] in one direction or to Bartram’s Garden in the other.

A certified instructor offers brief lessons before the tour, and trips require participants to be moderately fit, but you don’t need to have kayaking experience. Participants must be at least 8 years old; anyone under 14 needs to be accompanied by a guardian, and anyone under 18 needs parental permission.
