The glowing red neon of this sugar processing plant’s 120-foot-tall “Domino Sugars” sign has kept watch over Baltimore [1]’s harbor for more than 50 years. The plant offers a short tour, by appointment only, that demonstrates how the raw sugar that comes into the plant via barge and tanker is processed and leaves via Key Highway in the iconic five-pound bags of Domino Sugar.

But to really get a great view of this Baltimore [1] waterfront icon, take a nighttime stroll east along the Inner Harbor and into Fell’s Point.
