HOURS: Mon.–Fri. 7 a.m.–5 p.m., Sat.–Sun. 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
COST: Most entrées less than $10
Go past the final brick row houses and warehouses of Locust Point, to the end of Hull Street, and you’ll find Tide Point, a repurposed former detergent production facility that’s now home to high-tech offices and the sleek, glass-enclosed Harvest Table, a strictly breakfast-and-lunch bistro that offers lots of outdoor seating for sunny mornings.
Breakfast and brunch specialties (like the Carolina layered breakfast, full of eggs, grits, bacon, and cheese, and their Grand Marnier French toast) are hearty, and fresh ingredients make basic lunch standards shine. This place is very, very popular, particularly on bright spring and summer days, so be prepared to wait if you arrive at, say, 11 a.m. on a Saturday.
