This is not a quiet, subdued art space; it’s a working, serious, do-it-yourself building for art and generally loud, unrestrained music. Upstairs are artworks and offices; rock shows take place in the totally rocker-friendly wood-paneled basement, which rapidly turns into an overheated swamp during well-attended gigs, but it all fits in with the ethos of the place.
This is a DIY joint, so don’t expect frills of any sorts, but do expect that, by coming to a show here, your money is going right to the artists and the space.
