The Mount Pleasant [2] area offers several decent golf courses. Two options include Bucks Run Golf Club (1559 S. Broomfield Rd., 989/772-5726, www.riverwoodresort.com [4], daily Apr.–Oct., $12–48), which offers 27 classic holes, a spacious clubhouse, several deluxe villas, and two dozen bowling lanes.
