Although Mackinaw City [1] isn’t as high on shoppers’ lists as, for instance, the resort towns along Lake Michigan, it does have its share of decent shops. Here, you can find everything from To Bead or Not to Bead, which offers handmade jewelry and beads for creating your own accessories, to the Great Lakes Bear Factory, where children (and adults) can customize their very own stuffed teddy bears.
