COST: Over $250 per night
The renovated historic Oxford Hotel is no longer relying on guests who are interested in Victorian charm alone but is also meeting the needs of busy executives.
In 1891, Union Station [2] was a thriving transportation hub for the Rockies and all those train travelers needed a classy place to rest. The Oxford was designed by Frank Edbrooke, who also designed the Brown Palace Hotel [3] at the opposite end of 17th Street. The 80 rooms are still appointed with lovely antiques, but also include high-speed Internet access and dual phone lines.
Stop in the Cruise Room [4] for a cocktail before walking to other bars and restaurants throughout LoDo.
