In Blackhawk [1] 12 Victorian and Gothic homes were relocated to make way for the mega-casinos; they now make up the Mountain City Historic Park (Gregory St., Blackhawk, 303/582-5221). The homes were moved here and renovations completed in 2002 with the intention of turning them into shops, but officials have hit building code snags and for now they are administration offices for the town.
It’s free to wander through and just look at these cute former homes.
