The main attraction at the Afro-Caribbean Drum Center (1 Snegle Gade, 340/998-5455, www.acdrumcenter.com [1]) is its large collection of African drums. Daily “tours” ($15) include a masterful demonstration in African drumming, discussion about the history of drumming, and an opportunity to try your hand at the art form. In addition, there is a weekly drumming class on Saturdays at 10 a.m. To find the drum center, take Trumpeter Gade between Subway and Cuzzin’s Caribbean Restaurant and then turn left onto Snegle Gade. Look for the Bambini Arts Mural.
