St. Thomas [1] sheds its historical ambience on the east end, where resorts line adjacent bays. The landscape on the east end is decidedly more dry than in other parts of the island, and there are fewer steep hills. This is where you will find the best water sports and one of the island’s most popular attractions, Coral World [2].
Red Hook, the sprawling town on St. Thomas’s easternmost tip, is where most people come to catch ferries to St. John [3] and Tortola [4]. Farther inland, Estate Tutu and the surrounding areas are the most populated portions of St. Thomas, with large shopping malls and traffic jams.
