Bolongo Bay

Located along the southern shore of St. Thomas [1], on Route 30, is Bolongo Bay, another good resort beach. Bolongo is small crescent bay with a coarse-sand beach scattered with small stones and coral fragments. Coconut palms provide shade and the resort offers sea toys like dinghies, kayaks, and paddle boats for rent. Bolongo Bay beach attracts a fun-loving crowd as likely to spend the afternoon at the beach bar as on the water. Beach chairs rent for $5 a day to non-resort guests.
