Blue Water Divers & Watersports (tel. 441/234-2909, www.divebermuda.com [1]) operates a year-round snorkel and scuba outlet at Elbow Beach [2], offering snorkel tours on the nearby boiler reefs, James Bond–style water-scooter tours, and beach dives around the fringe reefs that lie just a few hundreds yards from shore. You can also kayak out to Pollokshields, a 1915 German wreck that lies within swimming distance of the beach. Scuba certification by instructors trained in PADI, NAUI, and SSI is also available. Reservations by credit card are recommended.
