Warwick Parish [1] is synonymous with beaches, and where the parish may lack in shopping or five-star restaurants, it more than compensates with its glorious stretch of coastline. Walkers, runners, sunbathers, swimmers, kitesurfers, and volleyball enthusiasts will find all they need here.
Lifeguards are posted at the most popular areas (including Warwick Long Bay [2]) during the summer season, and Bermuda’s Parks Department ensures the soft, pink sand is combed of washed-up seaweed, jellyfish, and tar every morning. Do, however, watch for Portuguese man-of-wars.
Warning signs are clearly posted during hurricane season, warning off swimmers when approaching storms bring dangerous swells—a big attraction to daredevil windsurfers and kitesurfers.
