Like neighboring Horseshoe [1], Warwick Long Bay is one of Bermuda’s [2] most dramatic beaches, spanning a half mile of coast. The beach’s thick, coral-sprinkled sand, boiler reefs, and surrounding dunes and parkland makes it a popular venue, yet it is never as crowded as Horseshoe, perhaps due to the lack of a café or very shallow bathing areas.
In 2008, the government approved plans for a beachside bar here, but area residents promised to fight the scheme.
