Take to the water in a kayak, sailboat, or motorboat from Windjammer Watersports (Cambridge Marina at Mangrove Bay, reservations tel. 441/234-3082, windjammerbda [at] northrock [dot] bm, www.snorkelpark.com [1], 9 a.m.– 6 p.m. May–Nov.), which is a resort outlet that offers rentals by the hour, half day, and full day. It’s a perfect way to spend a day in the West End, because there are so many tiny coves, beaches, islands, and islets around this part of the island. Pack a picnic and go exploring the reef-laden South Shore flats or around Mangrove Bay and the Great Sound coastline.
