Bermuda has been cyber-crazy ever since Internet service was first offered here in the early 1990s. Most hotels and guesthouses offer wireless Internet access to visitors. Larger properties cater to laptop-toting business travelers with high-speed connections in rooms, lobby areas, and dedicated business centers. There are also numerous cybercafés around the island, in the city of Hamilton, at the Dockyard [1] in Sandys [2], and in the Town of St. George. Free online access is also offered via kiosks at parish post offices.
Computer and communication supplies are extremely expensive to purchase in Bermuda, so try to come equipped, or be prepared to pay two to three times the price you would at home.
Bermuda’s Internet domain is.bm, though some Bermuda-based websites have.com URLs for higher visibility.
