Beaufort [1]’s historic district is blessed with an abundance of high-quality accommodations that blend well with their surroundings. There are plenty of budget-minded chain places, some of them acceptable, in the sprawl of Boundary Street outside of downtown, but here are some suggestions within bicycle distance of the Point. (That’s not a hypothetical, as most inns offer free bicycles to use as you please during your stay.)
