Auldbrass

Continuing still further north on U.S. 17 from Oyotunji Village [1] you’ll come to the small town of Yemassee. Its main claim to fame is nearby Auldbrass, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1939. The home is privately owned by Hollywood producer Joel Silver, but rare, much-sought-after tours happen every other year in November through the auspices of the Beaufort County Open Land Trust.
