The acclaimed Blue Sky Gallery (733 Saluda Ave., 803/779-4242, Wed. –Sat. 11:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) in Columbia [1]’s Five Points is the place where you’ll find original work from none other than Blue Sky himself, a.k.a. Warren Edward Johnson, a nationally-renowned local artist who specializes in murals and folk art.
The Vista hosts a number of good galleries, including the modern-tinged if (1223 Lincoln St., 803/238-2351, Mon. –Fri. 11 a.m.–7 p.m., Sat. 11 a.m.–5 p.m.) and the eclectic Gallery at DuPre (807 Gervais St., 803/546-1143).
