You’ve heard of crop circles? Pim’s Maze (464 Dovesville Hwy., 888/277-7815, www.cornfieldmaze.com [1], Sat. 10 a.m.–9 p.m., Sun. 2–9 p.m., Wed. 6–8 p.m. Sept.–Nov., $7 adults, $6 children, under 4 free) is an elaborate version, but made by humans, not aliens.
This labyrinth in a local cornfield is a beguiling way to spend an hour or two and let the kids blow off some steam in a natural setting.
It’s between Darlington [2] and Hartsville [3] on Dovesville Highway, a short stretch joining U.S. Highways 15 and 52.
