The Museo Chiapas de Ciencia y Tecnología (Calzada Cerro Hueco 3000, tel. 961/639-2564, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Tues.–Fri., 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Sat.–Sun., US$1.75 adult, US$0.85 child) is a hands-on science and technology museum. Geared at kids and teens, it has modern exhibition halls that describe the universe, life, and the human body, nano- and bio-technology, and artificial intelligence.
There is also a recreational zone complete with games and experiments that teach the basics of physics, biology, chemistry…even math. It’s a fun stop, especially on a rainy day.
