The American-owned Pizza Pizza (tel. 504/662-1104, daily except Wednesday until 9 p.m.), on Calle Centenario at 5 Avenida NE, serves up a decent pizza pie, as well as grinders, spaghetti, and garlic bread, all at reasonable prices. It does not serve beer.

Weekend’s Pizza (tel. 504/662-4121, 4 Av. and 2 Calle SO, 10:30 a.m.–9 p.m. Wed.–Sun.) is owned by a former Peace Corps volunteer and her Honduran husband. They drive to San Pedro Sula [1] weekly to bring back ingredients you can’t find anywhere in Santa Rosa [2], such as Gouda cheese and sun-dried tomatoes.
