After the raging success of language schools in neighboring Guatemala, it’s no surprise several Hondurans have set up schools of their own. Language schools can be found in Copán Ruinas [1], Santa Rosa de Copán [2], La Ceiba [3], Utila [4], Tela [5], and Trujillo [6]. Generally, the schools rate as fairly good to excellent, although teacher quality can be more varied. Prices are around US$150–220 per week, including five days of one-on-one classes, and around US$220 if room and board with a local family is included.
