Most of the restaurants in Culebra [1] serve fairly modest fare. One popular spot is Dinghy Dock (Calle Fulladoza, south of the drawbridge, on Ensenada Honda, 787/742-0024, 787/742-0233, or 787/742-0518, info [at] dinghydock [dot] com, www.dinghydock.com [2], daily 8 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 6:30–9 p.m., dinner $9–30). The name of this funky little eatery and bar is self-explanatory: Boats literally dock beside your table at this casual waterfront spot. Plastic patio chairs line a narrow dock under a hanging roof.
The cuisine is by and large Puerto Rican, featuring Angus steaks and seafood, including tuna and lobster at night, waffles and French toast for breakfast. Check out the huge tarpon that swim below waiting for a handout. There is a full bar.
