Water Sports

As noted throughout this book, water sports are a huge draw in Puerto Rico [1]. Visitors come from all over the world to surf its western shores, where regional and national competitions are held. Diving and snorkeling are popular on the southwest coast and around the smaller islands off the east coast. Sailing, big game fishing, and kite-boarding are other popular sports.
