Tucson [1]’s answer to the high-end shopping centers that abound in Scottsdale, just a hundred miles or so up I-10, La Encantada offers all the most posh chains and a few local boutiques as well.

It’s a two-level outdoor mall, so during summer walking from Bebe to Tiffany & Co. and then back to Louis Vuitton will be a bit uncomfortable. Also here is Crate and Barrel, The Apple Store, a boutique toy store. and the only-for-the-too-rich Muttropolis Dog & Cat Boutique. There are several good places to eat and drink here after a hard day of shopping.
