Built, as so many things at Universal Orlando [1] are, in response to a success at Disney (in this case, Downtown Disney’s Cirque du Soleil [2] theater), the purpose-built Sharp Aquos Theater hosts daily performances of the Blue Man Group (showtimes vary, daily, adults $64–84, children $54–74, children 2 and under free, but not recommended for children under 3).
The Orlando production is one of seven permanent Blue Man productions, and the show here is something of a “greatest hits,” incorporating various elements from different Blue Man shows.
The oddball instrumentation, choreographed feats, physical humor, and general sense of amazement that the Blue Men are known for are amplified in the intimate theater setting, and the 100-minute show is both hilarious and impressive.
