Located almost midway between St. Augustine [1] and Jacksonville [2] is the World Golf Hall of Fame (1 World Golf Pl., 904/940-4000, www.wgv.com [3], 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Mon.–Sat., noon–6 p.m. Sun., $19 adults, $17 seniors, military, and students, $8.50 children, children 3 and under free). Fans of the game can explore the museum, which has a clutch of exhibits with artifacts and memorabilia from golf’s history.
However, there’s also an IMAX theater that doesn’t show golf films and two outdoor courses—an 18-hole putting course and a recreation of the 17th hole at the Tournament Players Club in Ponte Vedra Beach—for those so inspired.
If you want to take the inspiration further, tee times can be reserved at either of the Hall’s two par-72 courses.
