Just beyond the World Forestry Center [1] is a series of spiraling black granite slabs that are inscribed with the names of all the Oregon residents who died in Vietnam or who are missing in action. The names are contrasted with a timeline of Oregon events from the same period, providing a poignant contrast and conjuring up memories of the turbulent Vietnam War era.
