Find this 0.5-mile loop trail through an old-growth ecosystem on the west side of the Aufderheide Byway not far from Route 126. In addition to 650-year-old conifers, you’ll see other layers of life from shrubs and ground-cover plants to fish, mammals, birds, and amphibians. Many plant species are clearly marked along the trail.
