Lincoln City [1] is lucky to have several good Asian restaurants. Our favorite is Andaman Thai Cuisine (660 SE U.S. 101, 541/996-8424, 11 a.m.–9 p.m. daily, $10–17), in a little mall midway through town. In addition to traditional and well-prepared Thai favorites, Andaman offers zippy updates that include local seafood and seasonal ingredients that might be just what you want after a diet of bland clam chowder and fish-and-chips. Adjacent to the dining area is a tea and dessert bar, where you can warm up on a blustery afternoon or evening.
In the outlet mall, Momiji (5045 SW U.S. 101, 541/994-8886, 10 a.m.–9 p.m. daily, sushi rolls $4–12) offers both Chinese and Japanese cooking, but the reason this restaurant is so popular is the excellent sushi rolls and sashimi. You’re welcome to watch at the bar as the sushi is made, eat family-style in the restaurant, or get your order to go.
