Traditional and modern French cuisine is offered from a weekly-changing menu. The three-course prix-fixe dinner ($30) is an excellent value. Chateaulin’s adjoining gourmet food and wine shop also offers custom picnic lunch baskets (order 24 hours in advance). If you go after a play for one of the 25 specialty coffee drinks, be careful what you say about the performance—Hamlet or Falstaff may show up wearing blue jeans.
