If your trip coincides with the annual Kansas City Literary Festival in early May, you just may find yourself listening to a lecture or reading presented by a nationally renowned author.
The celebration of all things books features local, regional, and national authors, as well as book sales, children’s activities, and other literary-minded exhibits set amid the blooming landscape of the Plaza.
Admission is free, but bring cash if you want to buy books.
