There is nothing remarkable about the sandwiches and salads served at the Dockside Deli. All of the regular suspects are on the menu: corned beef, chicken salad, grilled cheese, Denver melts, burgers, and hot dogs ($3.95–6.95).

It’s the location—a dock on the banks of Lake Norman [2]—that makes it worth a mention. Playing on the lake all day works up an appetite, and this is one of few places to get a bite and gas for the boat without getting off of the water.
