The Hudson-Mohawk Bikeway follows the Mohawk and Hudson Rivers for about 60 miles, from Albany [1] north to Rotterdam Junction and east to St. Johnsville. Maps are available at the Albany Heritage Area Visitor Center [2] (25 Quackenbush Sq., at Broadway and Clinton Ave., 518/434-0405 or 800/258-3582, 9 a.m.–9 p.m. Mon.–Fri. and 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Sat.–Sun.). In Albany you can access the trail from the Corning Preserve [3].
Dutch Apple Cruises (137 Broadway, 518/463-0220) and Capt. JP (518/270-1901) offer sightseeing, lunch, brunch, and dinner cruises along the Hudson Rivr in April–October.
