A fun afternoon trip south of Buffalo [1] is Griffis Sculpture Park (6902 Mill Valley Rd., East Otto, 716/667-2808, www.griffispark.org [2], dusk–dawn May–Oct., $5 adults, $3 senior/student, children 12 and under free), a 400-acre outdoor home to more than 225 monumental works of art, ranging from the quirky 20-foot-figures from Larry Griffis Jr., the park’s founder, to works from regional and international artists and changing exhibits in a lovely natural setting.
