Travel Maps of Kaua‘i
East Side
The east side, also referred to as the Coconut Coast, is by far the busiest side of the island. Stretching from Lihu‘e to Kapa‘a, it holds a vast mix of historical sites, outdoor activities, and modern comforts like restaurants, shopping, and hotels.
North Shore
The magical north shore is a true tropical paradise. Its vibrant green cliffs back some of the island’s most spectacular white-sand beaches with great snorkeling and world-class waves.
South Shore
The south shore offers something for everyone: luxurious indulgences for those looking for ultimate relaxation, beaches perfect for family outings, and great snorkeling opportunities.
West Side
Out on the west side, you’ll find empty land, roads, and beaches, and the very small historical town of Waimea. With its laid-back vibe, dusty red dirt, lack of rain, and small historical buildings, it almost resembles the Wild West.
